Welcome to Solstice Counseling & Wellness
At Solstice Counseling & Wellness we work with children, adolescents and adults starting at age 8. We accept most major insurance carriers and encourage you to check with your plan in advance to verify if our providers are part of your preferred network. An income-based sliding scale may also be available.
*Please note that we are unable to prescribe medication.

MEET OUR PROVIDERS
Our therapists serve clients in Wasatch and Summit counties along with neighboring communities in the Wasatch back.
After growing up in New York, Dr. Miller moved West to explore his love of the mountains. He received his BS in Psychology from Colorado State University and his PhD in Counseling Psychology from Washington State University. After relocating to Utah for his professional internship, he decided he would like to make it home due to its outdoor diversity. He moved to the Heber Valley in 2011 and started Solstice Counseling & Wellness in April 2013.
Stephanie joined Solstice Counseling and Wellness, following completion of her degree in Psychology, with a specialization in School Psychology from Utah State University. She has a master’s degree in education from Boston University and worked in diverse public schools as a special education teacher. Stephanie has 6 years of clinical experience working in a variety of settings across Utah including K-12 schools, residential treatment facilities, private practice, and partial and inpatient psychiatric hospital settings.
Emily is working at Solstice as she completes her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Spalding University—an APA-accredited PsyD program in Louisville, KY. She holds an MA in Psychology from Spalding University and a BS from the University of Kentucky.
Sarah is working at Solstice to finish her doctorate in Psychology by completing a predoctoral internship, marking the final step in earning her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Spalding University—an APA-accredited PsyD program in Louisville, KY. She holds an MA in Clinical Psychology from Spalding University.
